PRIMARY CANDIDATES
Joe Colborn has worked in the apartment industry for nearly 15 years, managing over 60 different apartment communities ranging from D to A+ grade assets.  Joe is a District Manager with Denizen Management where he currently oversees a $200M multifamily portfolio.  He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Greater Dayton Apartment Association Board of Directors. He is eager to utilize his broad knowledge and innovation to continue to make the GDAA even better.

Sarah Hahn began her career in Property Management with HILLS Properties in 2011. She started as a Leasing Consultant and was quickly promoted to Leasing Director where she aided in winning the 2013 NAA Excellence Award for Community of the Year. She moved on to Property Manager and would oversee two additional lease-ups. In 2016, she transitioned into the Regional Level role. Currently, her 3,000-unit portfolio consists of Cincinnati, Dayton, and Boston, MA. She is excited to be a part of HILLS Properties expansion in the Dayton market with two new communities: Allure Apartments in Centerville and Element Apartments in Oakwood. Sarah serves on the GDAA Education Committee and is an active volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House as well as the City Link's- “Dress for Success” program.

Crystal Hawkey has over 19 years of experience in the Property Management industry with much of that time being in the Dayton and Cincinnati markets.  In addition to the opportunity to travel and assist underperforming properties all over the country Crystal also has a background in education which has driven her to assist in developing training and marketing programs with a variety of properties and employers.  In February of 2019, she started her career with HILLS Properties as a Property Manager at The Reserve at Miller Farm.  Crystal has been an active member of the GDAA Education Committee and will be presenting a Social Media Training in October.  Recently, she started her CAM courses and was also promoted to Senior Property Manager which gives her the opportunity to oversee multiple communities.  Crystal knows that there are many new and exciting opportunities on the horizon with the changes in today’s world.  She is so excited to help GDAA to be a part of this shift as we all navigate this new normal.   Changing times call for a new face who can offer an innovative perspective and creative solutions and Crystal looks forward to being that person for GDAA.

Carol Prudden has been in the Property Management industry for 18 years; the past 14 years as the Property Manager at Sycamore Square Apartments managed by Oberer Management Services. She has served on the GDAA Program committee for the last 13 years and currently serves as the committee chair; she also currently serves on the GDAA Board of Directors (3 years) and the Legislative committee. Additionally, she has served on the last two Spotlight on Success committees. Carol also serves (6 years) on Lake Lakengren Property Owners Association Board of Trustees and is the secretary for that board and on the policy committee of the LPOA.  She holds her CAM credential and is a former realtor. She feels the major issues in the current climate is the eviction moratorium and keeping the membership involved during these times of restriction.
