The Greater Dayton Apartment Association is a trade organization for companies that own and manage apartment communities and affiliated companies that provide products or services to the apartment industry. Members of GDAA are rental housing owners, property management companies, individual apartment communities, and companies that service or supply products to rental properties.

GDAA currently represents over 132 affiliate members and over 39,000 apartment units in the Greater Dayton area.

Management Company

Primary membership shall be held by companies, firms, partnerships or corporations whose business is the construction, re-construction, ownership or management of multi-family dwelling units.

Annual Dues
Upon application and renewal of dues, the Primary Member will pay for all units owned and/or managed by the said member within the geographic jurisdiction held by the Association through their National Apartment Association charter. Primary Members joining or renewing dues while under construction shall pay dues on the total number of units approved by their county building department (certificate of occupancy) upon application or renewal of membership to the Association.  

Dues are $3.06 per unit (with a minimum of $262 per year) up to 1000 units. If the applicant has over 1000 units’ dues will be $3,060.00 plus $.48 for each unit over 1000 units.  

There is a $50 initiation fee.

Associate Member

Associate membership shall be held by any person, firm, partnership or corporation who does not qualify as a Primary Member but desires to further the purpose of the Association by providing a product or service to the Primary membership.

When you become a member of the Greater Dayton Apartment Association (GDAA) you get three memberships in one: the GDAA, The Ohio Apartment Association (OAA), and the National Apartment Association (NAA).

Dues are $425.00 per year and a $25 initiation fee, for a total of $450
