***UPDATED COVID PROTOCOL FOR GDAA EVENTS***

In accordance with the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health  masks/face coverings will no longer be required by GDAA for vaccinated individuals. Unvaccinated people are strongly encouraged to continue mask wearing, and all individuals should take appropriate measures to protect their health. By attending an event, you are confirming that you aren't sick or showing symptoms of any communicabvle disease.

  • If you are fully vaccinated, you can participate in many of the activities that you did before the pandemic.
  • To maximize protection from COVID19 variants and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.
  • Wearing a mask is most important if you have a weakened immune system or if, because of your age or an underlying medical condition, you are at increased risk for severe disease, or if someone in your household has a weakened immune system, is at increased risk for severe disease, or is unvaccinated. If this applies to you or your household, you might choose to wear a mask regardless of the level of transmission in your area.
  • You should continue to wear a mask where required by laws, rules, regulations, or local guidance.

We reserve the right to amend or reinstate protocols deemed appropriate or recommended by the CDC or other relevant authorities.

Event Details

Pet restrictions regarding breed, weight and age have been part of rental housing operations forever.  The truth is they aren't always necessary, and they're likely impairing your ability to attract and retain residents. Learn the benefits experienced by operators who reduce or eliminate restrictions, such as increased renter demand, increased renewal rates and sharp upticks in pet revenue. Explore the sometimes-faulty assumptions behind those restrictions and outline how to relax restrictions in a sensible and careful way as well as learn ways in which communities can become more pet-friendly.

Learn about:

  • The financial and operational benefits operators experience when they relax breed, weight and other pet restrictions.
  • The sometimes-faulty assumptions behind pet-related restrictions.
  • Other ways in which apartment operators and their communities can increase their pet-friendliness.
