May General Meeting

Wednesday, May 13, 2026
3:45 PM - 5:30 PM (EDT)

Event Details

Join us for an engaging, interactive session led by Jessica Porcelan, MD, a psychiatrist and a leadership coach, designed to strengthen one of the most overlooked leadership skills: asking powerful questions.

Drawing from clinical insight and real-world leadership coaching, this session will help you shift everyday conversations into more productive, meaningful, and results-driven interactions.

We’ll explore what powerful questions are, why they matter, and how leaders can use them in common workplace situations to improve communication, accountability, and collaboration.

We’ll close with a guided debrief to reflect on key takeaways, explore alternative approaches, and identify opportunities for growth.

Jessica Porcelan, MD is a psychiatrist who currently practices telepsychiatry with a focus on caring for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is actively involved in academic psychiatry, teaching medical students at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine and supervising psychiatry residents. Dr. Porcelan has completed her leadership coaching certification through Georgetown University and brings a coaching-informed, relationship-centered approach to her work. Disclaimer: While she is a physician, she is not practicing as a physician in this context. This session is for educational purposes only and will focus on communication skills through a leadership coaching lens.
