The Briefcase Series:
excited to excel

Microsoft Excel is one of the most powerful and widely used tools in business today. If you lack the basics or need a refresher, this hands-on class is for you.

You will learn the basic terminology of navigating an Excel workbook, show how to apply the library of functions to fit your needs and demonstrate how to build custom formulas when the standard functions aren’t enough. You’ll also see examples of how to apply Excel skills to property management to simplify your budgeting, banking, and performance indicator metrics!

This class will cover:

  • Terminology (Formulas and Functions aren’t the same thing?!)
  • Basic pre-built Functions and their application to property management
  • Formatting (Everyone likes a pretty spreadsheet!)
  • Visualizing your data with charts and graphs – let’s face it, staring at numbers isn’t where the fun is!
  • Learn how to use raw data and organize them into useful tools for you, your owners, and, your supervisors.

+Data tables  +Formulas  +Graphs/charts  +Generating custom reports

Bundle with Write, Right, and Save!

Bring your laptop pre-loaded with Excel and get ready to learn!

The Briefcase Series:

The Briefcase Series is a new educational series geared toward the Administrative Team (Manager, Assistant Manager, Leasing, District) Each class will focus on a hard skill (Excel, Word, etc.) or soft skill (people skills, interpersonal skills, etc.) Every class will come with a “tool” pertaining to the class and anyone who attends all the courses in the series will receive a briefcase!
