Over 52% of all Fair Housing cases are disability-related.

This number will increase as the US population of expedient ages. Fair Housing laws not only prohibit housing discrimination on the basis of disability but also afford people with disabilities the right to seek reasonable accommodations and modifications to make their housing easier to use and access.

In this 2.5 hour seminar, veteran attorney, Bill Willis, will explore “real-life” examples regarding;

  • What is required by law
  • What is a reasonable accommodation/modification
  • Market rate vs 504 responsibilities
  • Assistance/service animals
  • Unit transfers
  • Parking
  • Live-in Aides
  • Hoarding
  • Medical marijuana
