Rent Foundation
The GDAA Rent Foundation is an entity of the Greater Dayton Apartment Association (GDAA).
The Greater Dayton Apartment Association is a professional trade association representing the multi-family housing industry. Our mission is to provide educational resources promoting apartment management professionalism so they may better serve the apartment home leasing public. The organization was founded in 1981 by a group of concerned apartment owners and managers. The GDAA represents the interests of over 33,000 apartment homes in the Miami Valley region surrounding and including Dayton, Ohio. Its primary funding resource is from dues paid by its continuing members. These members are individuals, companies and corporations which own and manage multi-family housing and who also provide products and services for the apartment industry.
The GDAA Rent Foundation was founded in 1993 as a charitable organization to provide financial assistance to the rental public and to promote affordable housing. It is a separate corporation and is funding through charitable contributions of the members of the Greater Dayton Apartment Association. The Rent Foundation is administered by the staff of the GDAA.
The GDAA Rent Foundation assists Miami Valley residents who rent their home and through illness or tragedy cannot make their next payment.
